For the office and meetings, choose plain black or navy with a neat collar. For university and daily errands, choose pockets and a belt that lets you shape the cut. Watch the length: a hem that touches the floor gets dirty during a workday, so choose a length that ends just above the floor in your work shoes and send it on WhatsApp to have the abaya tailored to it in our Doha atelier. Before you choose
What is the best abaya for work?
A plain black or navy abaya with a straight or lightly shaped cut, a neat collar, front pockets and a fabric that does not crease easily. Choose a hem just above the floor and sleeves that end at the wrist so nothing gets in the way.
Do Novella abayas have pockets?

Is a blazer abaya good for university?
Yes, especially one with pockets and a simple closure. For long lecture days, choose a light fabric and a length that clears the floor, and add a practical shoulder bag in a neutral colour.
