Black abayas

About the collection

In Qatar and across the Gulf, a wardrobe starts with a black abaya, and most Novella designs are black for that reason. The outside stays black, as an abaya should be, and each design changes in the detail: a blazer-style collar, a row of gold-toned buttons down the front and at the cuffs, fine lace at the neckline, an asymmetric front closure with fabric-covered buttons, or metallic floral patterns on a textured fabric. You will also find plain black abayas with a straight cut and front pockets, made for work and everyday visits. For occasions, choose the metallic patterns or the gold buttons. For work, choose a plain piece with a neat collar and pockets. Every abaya comes in sizes XS to XL and lengths 50 to 60, and you can send your own measurements on WhatsApp to have it tailored to you in our Doha atelier.
