About the collection
A two-tone abaya gives the cut length and presence without embroidery. The Novella collection includes a black abaya with a sharp white front panel, a wide collar and white cuffs; a black and white abaya with vertical contrast lines and slim piping along the body and sleeves; a blazer-inspired abaya with contrasting lapels and side panels, a single-button closure and pockets; a deep brown abaya with a soft beige front panel running its full length; and an abaya with flowing curved panels and a single-button closure. Vertical contrast lines lead the eye from shoulder to hem, so they suit you if you want to look taller. Wear these abayas with a plain black shayla so the detail stays in the abaya, or with a shayla in the lighter shade for daytime. Wash them alone in cold water so the dark colour cannot reach the white, and test the colour on an inside seam before the first wash. Every design comes in sizes XS to XL and lengths 50 to 60, or can be tailored to you in Doha.

Is a black and white abaya suitable for work?
Yes. A white front panel and a neat collar read as formal and suit the office and meetings. Pair it with a plain black shayla and closed black shoes, and let the white be the only light point in the look.
How do I wash an abaya with black and white panels?
Wash it alone in cold water, by hand or on a gentle cycle, without soaking and without bleach. Test the colour on an inside seam before the first wash, then hang it to dry in the shade straight away.
Does a two-tone abaya make you look taller?
Vertical lines and a light front panel running from shoulder to hem lead the eye downwards, so the figure reads taller. The effect is stronger when the length is set to your height, which is where made to measure helps.
