About the collection
A pocket in an abaya carries your phone, keys and card, so the bag can stay on the desk. The current Novella collection has abayas whose pockets are part of the design: a brown blazer abaya with a chest pocket and two flap pockets below the waist, a beige blazer abaya with two welt pockets, an olive abaya with a high collar and two flap pockets, a black double-breasted blazer abaya with patch pockets at the hips, a black shirt abaya with two flap pockets at the chest, and a grey pinstripe abaya with a belt and black-trimmed pockets. Every design comes in sizes XS to XL and lengths 50 to 60, and can be tailored to you in Doha.
Before you choose
Can an abaya with pockets work for an occasion?
Yes, when the pockets are part of the design, such as the glossy pocket flaps on the pinstripe blazer abaya or the beaded trim circling the pockets of the open abaya. For work and university, choose flap pockets on a blazer or shirt cut.
Can you add pockets to a design that has none?
Ask us on WhatsApp before you order, with the design code and where you want the pocket, and we will tell you whether it is possible and what it costs.
